Coaching Skills for Therapists
Coaching supports people to develop in professional and private matters. The overall aim of coaching is to enhance one’s options for future action.
In order to reach this aim a coach addresses his client as a human being consisting of body, mind AND soul.
Furthermore a coach
- focuses consequenty on the client’s explicit develomental goal
- uses a specific inner state of mind
- uses a vast number of tools and
- taps the full potential of his client’s own inner ressources.
If Breath Work therapists (or other psychotherapists) can use these coaching skills they enhance their effectiveness to a large extent. Integrating Breath Work Therapy and Coaching Skills enables therapists not only to initiate a inner healing process in their clients but also to support their clients in activly forming their outer world.
Last but not least if a therapist knows how to play on the claviature of coaching he is able to coach himself towards his own business goals.
